A heartfelt thank you to James Cox and Kraig Worster for their incredible support of the The Sanctuary Warming Shelter

When James heard we needed a box built around our electrical panel, he didn’t hesitate. He called his friend Kraig Worster, a local contractor, who generously donated his time and materials to get us up to code.

We’re so grateful for community members who step up to help make the shelter safe and welcoming for everyone. 💙

If you’re looking for a skilled and community-minded contractor, give Kraig a call at (207) 907-0530. Worster Custom Builders LLC

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to meet the needs of our community members through the upcoming warming shelter season. ❤️

We’ll soon be looking for volunteers to help with overnight shifts a vital role in keeping our unhoused neighbors safe, warm, and treated with dignity.

Our sincere thanks to the City of Bangor for their continued support and for allowing us to be part of the solution. Together, we can make a difference. 💙

Stay tuned for details on how to get involved!

People deserve a home. When we can’t provide that, we must at least ensure a safe, warm place where people can survive and be treated with dignity. We believe this is achievable. Together Place Peer-Run Recovery Center is ready and positioned to help meet this urgent community need. However, while $30,000 is generous, it will not be enough to create the safe space our community deserves.

You can be part of helping us to safely and comfortably provide a warming center this winter. We have set a fundraising goal of $20,000 to fill the financial gap to run the warming center. We also have created an Amazon Wish list of specific items needed.

Join us in ensuring our homeless and unsheltered neighbors have a warm, safe space to sleep each night.
