My name is Dr. Jeffrey S. Slocum and I have been in practice in Mid Coast Maine for 25 years. I am glad to be moving to Bangor to practice the “My Life Well Adjusted” program of full scope chiropractic and dedicate more of my life to the education and empowerment of my new community. I have been married to my wife Debbie for 19 years and we have 3 amazing children, Isabella 18, Amelia 15, and Andrew 11. As a family we enjoy kayaking, hiking, fishing, and boating in and around southern and central Maine. We are excited to be moving to Bangor so we can spend more time at camp in Lincoln, enjoy our new home in the Fairmount park area, and spend more time with our children as they grow and build their lives.

My daughter Amelia is excited to play women’s hockey on a new team and attend Bangor High School as a RAM and my son Andrew is excited to have been chosen to play for the Jr, Black Bears P*e Wee Tier 3 team and to be a James F. Doughty Bull Dog in the fall! We look forward to many years of a full life in the Central Maine region and are thrilled to be able to attend events at UMO with our daughter Bella, a freshman Black Bear!

I have had the distinct honor to have been a founder of the Chiropractic Vitality Centers of Maine with locations in Bath, Brunswick, South Portland, Richmond, and now Bangor. With experience as an author, internationally known expert and speaker on chiropractic wellness and care for the whole person, and 25 of practice experience, I am confident I can help the people of the greater Bangor area achieve their ideal state of health and explore a “Life Well Adjusted”.
