Ruth laid the foundation for what UCP of Maine is today. For more than fifty years, she remained closely connected to the organization through her leadership, guidance, and unwavering commitment to inclusion and opportunity for people with disabilities.

Her vision and determination shaped UCP’s mission and strengthened the programs and supports that continue to improve the quality of life for individuals and families across Maine.

We are profoundly grateful for her legacy.
