Now Hiring: Quality Assurance Specialist (Temporary – 25 Hours/Week)

Looking for extra hours? We’re currently hiring a QA Specialist (Temporary). We also encourage our internal team members to apply!

This role supports our agency by maintaining accurate EMR documentation, tracking discharged records, and helping ensure compliance with MaineCare and licensing standards.

✅ 25 hours per week
✅ Office-based role
✅ Great opportunity to gain QA and compliance experience
✅ High School Diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
✅ Experience in office settings required; mental health/QA experience preferred

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Ruth Shook, co-founder and first Executive Director of UCP of Maine.

Ruth laid the foundation for what UCP of Maine is today. For more than fifty years, she remained closely connected to the organization through her leadership, guidance, and unwavering commitment to inclusion and opportunity for people with disabilities.

Her vision and determination shaped UCP’s mission and strengthened the programs and supports that continue to improve the quality of life for individuals and families across Maine.

We are profoundly grateful for her legacy.
