Banks Volunteer Fire Department responded to a tone out at 10:52 am for a camper fire at 1521 Bradley Road 1 today. Nine Banks’ Firefighters with two trucks extinguished the fire, unfortunately the camper was a complete loss and there were no injuries 🚒

I hope you are making plans to come to Bank's Arkansas. Our Easter event will start today at 3:00 and the Easter Bunny is already here in town!

For those of you who have asked, we will not cancel the Easter event we have planned for Saturday at 3:00pm.
If it is raining the event will be moved to the community center.
The Easter Bunny said he does not care if it rains he will still be ready to see everyone!
Rain or shine we will have a good time!
We will have food, games, cake walk, and pictures with the Easter Bunny!
Please help us spread the word!

The Town of Banks is pleased to announce that we applied and received the 2025 Wildland Fire Suppression Kit Grant. This grant is valued at $15,000 and will be used to improve fire fighting efficiency and safety for Banks’ Volunteer Firefighters 👨‍🚒🚒🧑‍🚒

We are excited to announce that the Town of Banks has been awarded the Rural Services Block Grant for 2026! This is Our second time receiving this valuable grant. This grant will be used to finish the electrical and interior portions of the new fire station as well as additions. We are extremely grateful for the Rural Services Department, Heather Barlow Consulting, Banks’ City Government and Our Volunteer Firefighters who made it possible.
