Labor can be a beautiful process when we embrace the flow of the progress✨

The first stage of labor is the longest & can last days/weeks for some people. At the onset of these signs of labor, take a deep breath & evaluate your current position, as long as you have breath you have options!! Many birthing clients continue their daily activities, others stay home, relax, listen to music or even sleep. you will be encouraged to head to the hospital during the active/transition phase of labor.

When we know the signs to look out for, we can better prepare for how to handle the situation.

Aside from labor, the are always my favorite 🥰

I had the honor of supporting through their journey to parenthood along with , & was truly inspired by their ability to read each other so well & communicate with very little words actually spoken.

We all gather to love up on Mama 💜we talk about a game plan before the baby arrives earth side. James made us all a lovely korean bbq spread along with some of Meighan’s favorites. It was crazy delicious so you already know that I had to get the recipe from him!!!

I also had the pleasure of working alongside 💜 you were such a pleasure to work with. This was my first time working with a birth photographer & I am so in love with all the photos. You did amazing work.

Thank you both again for allowing me to support you both along such a life changing experience. I have been truly honored to witness you both through it all.

I am currently accepting clients with an e.d.d. any time from January-June
There is limited time for January so get in while the availability is still open (I will be closing Jan. by the end of this year)

& for my postpartum families, it doesn’t matter if your baby or days old, weeks old, or months old, you qualify. If you are a mother & find yourself in need of assistance whether it be for help with baby or to just make time for yourself, you qualify!

My favorite part of baby massage!! Tonito’s lil’o patas! He’s ticklish so I have to be a bit firm with his feet or he squirms like a worm 😂

I love that no matter what the flow of the day brought us, I can wind him down with a nice massage after a bath💚

We had a long/late day & he is the last one up with mama. It’s nice to have constants like this as a part of our routine because it helps put him right to sleep. I put on our favorite night time movie, Raya & The Last Dragon, & he’s already asleep as I type this caption🥰

My Name is Nana!! I am a full-spectrum doula and I’ve been doing this since 2008💜

I am my sisters keeper
I remember this day like it was yesterday, I can still feel her squeezing my hand😭 we walked around that park at least 4x and I was using my iPod to time her contractions. Her first experience was a 36hr labor & I was fortunate enough to support her through all of her pregnancies, she has 6 kids y’all!!! & every one of them was soul special.

I ain’t new to this I’m true to this!
