Hi Friends!
I realize I’ve gone into a social media hibernation in recent months. Like many of you, I have been navigating the twists and turns 2020 has thrown our way. Some shifts have occurred during this time, so I thought we were due for an update!

Most of you know me, or have worked with me in the context of a yoga teacher, or trauma-informed yoga teacher. What you might not know is I am currently earning my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As I progress in my education, my focus has shifted toward my future as a therapist. However, yoga and mindfulness are an integral part of my therapeutic offerings, and I plan to teach studio classes and workshops again in the future.

Currently, I am seeing clients as a Clinical Intern and have appointments available via telehealth.

I find my therapeutic style evolving as a blend of traditional modalities like CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and body-based mindfulness practices such as yoga, meditation, and breathwork. I approach each case with mindfulness, kindness, and through a trauma-informed lens. This unique, multifaceted approach has been helping me assist clients in reaching their therapeutic goals.

I invite you to reach out if you feel I could be of service to you, or someone you know. Due to ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19, I am currently seeing clients online through telehealth.

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy.

Sending love,
Patricia

“Breathing in, I feel my body.
Breathing out, I feel the earth.”

What a wonderful way to connect, and feel more grounded today. I just did this meditation with my kiddos, and we all feel more relaxed and centered. Thank you Kripalu!
