If you or a loved one that served in the armed forces need help at home with light housekeeping, meal prepping, meal planning, errands, companionship, medication reminders, etc. Please reach out to us! We would love to help explain and get you help at home. Attached is a summary of Home health Aid/ Homemakers program that VA offers to individuals that served us to serve you!

Calling All Nelson County Veterans: Help Us Honor You!
We’re working to inscribe the name of every veteran in Nelson County on the Bardstown-Nelson County Veterans Memorial Park monuments. If you or a family member served, please stop by the Nelson County Library (Conference Room) on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Tuesdays and Thursdays in February from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM. Our volunteers will help verify names, service data, and ensure all veterans are included for our Grand Opening.

We consider everyone who has served and lives in Nelson County part of our family, so bring your DD214 if you have it—your information matters!

• Deadline to register/check data: March 15, 2025
• Names added once a year

Help us guarantee all veterans receive the recognition they deserve. Please share this with a veteran you know!
