As EMS Week comes to an end, I would like to thank all of the dedicated members of Barnegat EMS for the countless hours they devote to training and providing professional, compassionate care to the residents and visitors of the Township of Barnegat, as well as our neighboring mutual aid communities.

Your commitment, teamwork, and selfless service do not go unnoticed. Whether responding in the middle of the night, during severe weather, or on someone’s worst day, you continue to answer the call with professionalism and pride.

Attention Barnegat residents — reminder about winter parking rules (Ord. 71-19 and 71-20).
As we prepare for another winter storm, please remember Barnegat Township Ordinance 71-19 prohibits parking on township roads when they are snow-covered and Ordinance 71-20 authorizes removal/towing of vehicles that interfere with snow removal.
To help our local, county, and state crews clear roadways safely and quickly, please move vehicles off the street and onto private driveways or other safe parking areas before the storm arrives. If vehicles remain in the street during snow conditions, officers will enforce the ordinances and tow vehicles if necessary.
