POTS Workshop Interest Check 🪷
As many of you know, I am living and teaching yoga with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), and learning to adapt my own yoga practice and movement has been a huge journey for me.
Because of that, I’ve been considering putting together a small adaptive style workshop for individuals living with POTS, dysautonomia, or needing more supported movement options.
This would NOT be a traditional yoga class. It would be a slower educational workshop focused on:
• nervous system calming breathwork
• supportive positioning and prop use
• chair and wall modifications
• posture transitions and pacing
• adaptive pose variations
• learning to advocate for your body in class settings
This workshop would be based on my personal lived experience as both a yoga teacher and someone navigating POTS myself. I am not a medical professional, and this would not be medical advice or treatment.
Before attending, participants would receive a detailed workshop description and information packet to review with their physician to help determine whether the workshop would be appropriate for them individually.
Right now, I’m simply checking interest before planning further.
