Employment Opportunity - Nurse Practitioner
Drs. Woodall, Wilson and Manley are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide high quality patient care as part of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses.
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients including annual wellness and well-child exams.
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
Qualifications:
Previous nursing experience in Family Practice preferred.
Previous Family Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
Ability to build rapport with patients.
Exhibit high levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability and compassion.
Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced patient centered environment. (20 patients per day on average)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership qualities.
Electronic Medical Record experience required.
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Current Georgia APRN license.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration (optional)
Flexibility with schedule.
Rotating shift Monday-Friday; 4 days per week
Closed Saturday, Sunday and Major Holidays
