Two of our outstanding veterinary technicians are heading off to veterinary school, leaving some big shoes to fill. We are excited for them and are now looking for the next great addition to our team.

Thompson Veterinary Services is seeking a dependable, motivated, and positive Veterinary Technician who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

This position is ideal for someone who believes in putting their head down, working hard, supporting their team, and taking excellent care of patients and clients.

Schedule
🐾 Monday – Friday
🐾 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🐾 Occasional weekend checks if we have hospitalized patients

Responsibilities May Include -
🐾 Assisting veterinarians with exams and procedures
🐾 Patient restraint and handling
🐾 Drawing blood, running lab work, and assisting with diagnostics
🐾 Monitoring hospitalized patients
🐾 Administering medications and treatments
🐾 Client communication and education
🐾 Maintaining a clean and organized clinic

Last month we were able to host a fourth year veterinary student from Tuskegee University. Several of you may have had the opportunity to meet Eli while he was at the clinic for one of his 4 week externship rotations. Help us wish him luck as he finishes up this semester and becomes Dr. Eli Yance!! We know he’s going to be an amazing veterinarian!! 🩺🐾
