🐾HAPPY VET TECH APPRECIATION WEEK🐾
Meet Marlen. Marlen has been at TVS for 2 years, but has been one of our surgery techs for the past year. She is also studying at Fort Valley State University. One of her favorite parts of the job is making jokes with her coworkers. She says that no matter how stressful the day may be, those jokes and laughter can get her through the day and chaos, especially on surgery days. She also loves caring for our surgery patients, whether that be carrying them around or calming their nerves, both before and after each surgery. Her favorite animals to work with are dogs and horses. One fun fact about Marlen is that she is a master multi-tasker, which comes in handy in this career!! 🐴🐾

Meet Tyler! I am your girl behind all things social media. I’ve been with TVS for 6 years now. I started out by shadowing with Dr. Chanda and quickly learned the ropes to what it took to be a technician. I am also applying to vet schools to one day be a veterinarian. My favorite part about the job is getting to go on the road and work with large animals, but I really love most parts about the job! I also love all pittie or bully breeds!! One fun fact about me is that I have three dogs named Pickles, Olive, and Crackers (my charcuterie board)! 🐾🥒🫒

Meet Lyndsey. Lyndsey has been a part of TVS for 1.5 years, but has been a tech for the past year. One of her favorite parts about being a technician is getting the love on all of our patients and giving them the BEST belly scratches! Her favorite animals to work with are dogs and horses. A fun fact about Lyndsey is that she has some fun food combinations (that we think are weird), like plums and salt… 🐶🐴

Meet Sarah. She has been a technician for 6 years but has been with our team for almost 2 years. Her favorite part about this job is working hand in hand with amazing people that love and care for animals as much as she does. Her favorite animals to work with are the cats and dogs that come in with a little bit of an attitude (what we call spice), and simply just misunderstood. A fun fact about Sarah is that she LOVES Redbull, especially the sea blue edition. 💙🐾

🐾 HAPPY VET TECH APPRECIATION WEEK 🐾
Meet Jessica. Jessica has been with TVS since the truck and trailer days. There hasn’t been a time in her life where vet med wasn’t involved in some form. Her favorite part of the job is helping those animals that are scared or misunderstood. She loves helping owners through those behavioral issues. She also loves any wound management. Jessica said it hurts her soul to see those animals hurting, but getting to see those animals heal and build that bond while helping them heal is so satisfying. She loves working with all animals, especially exotics and large animals (which is why she probably owns a miniature zoo of her own). A fun fact about Jessica is that she is allergic to bird dander, bust mostly big birds like emus and ostriches. She takes her allergy meds before going on any calls that may be around those birds! 🐍🐴
