All good things must come to an end.

After seven successful and truly memorable Brad Detling Memorial Ridge Runner Classics, we've run our last race. It has been a wild and fantastic ride. We are overflowing with pride in what we have been able to accomplish. Brad Detling was an amazing son, brother, husband, and friend. We believe we've exemplified Bradly in what we have created. And his legacy is stronger than ever. We would like to thank all of those whose support and assistance made this race possible. What started as nothing more than an idea at a meeting at the Youth Center in spring 2010, turned into something extraordinary.

We'll still be around. Our scholarship will continue. Our race's success will allow for us to make a difference long into the future. With the award of this year's scholarships, we've given nearly $40,000 in scholarships and $3,500 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We're not finished yet.

So keep on Ridge Running!

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2018 Brad Detling Memorial Scholarships. This year, $3,000 was made available to graduating Barnesville High School seniors. Dulcie Christman was awarded $1,500. Brayden Reynolds was awarded $500. Darrah Detling was awarded $500. And Erin Castello was awarded $500. Best of luck to all of you in your future endeavors!!!!

An additional $500 donation was also made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
