Fun night tonight. The boys made up a game of patrol wars, where each patrol was timed to complete tasks. Tasks include fire starting, creating a stretcher from a tarp and 2x4’s, and knot tying.

Oct 19 – Court of Honor at St. Paul’s at 7:00 pm. Jonah Leible and Ethan Hemme to organize.

Oct 24 – Antonia Middle School Hike time and location to be TBD. Jonah Leible to organize.

Oct 26 – Trailer Cleanout at St. Paul’s at 7:00 pm. Quartermaster Jake Pantazo to lead.

Nov 2 – First Aid at St. Paul’s at 7:00 pm. Alex Mosier to lead.

It was a chilly evening but we pushed through it. Tonight Seth Kaylor, Ethan Hemme, and Alex Kinser presented online safety to the troop. After their presentation, a lot of planning went on as the boys took ownership of the upcoming calendar of events. Mr. Lamb will be sending an email out and will include the calendar as well as who’s owning each event. Mr. Kinser finished the night up with a review of how to maintain a sharp pocket knife. The boys learned multiple methods on how to properly sharpen a blade.

Please note a camping trip has been planned for the weekend of Oct 9th @ Washington State Park. If you or your scout plan on attending, please let Mr. Lamb or Mr. Kinser know.

It feels great to be back in the swing of things. 👍
