*5/9 5:35am: I’ve been so busy with calls, emails, and visitors I haven’t been able to make an update. All residents were safely transported to one of three nearby facilities. I want to be very clear that we had no injuries or fatalities as a result of the tornado. We are waiting on insurance adjusters to be onsite this morning. Everyone has been so supportive and volunteering to help. We greatly appreciate the willingness to help.

5/7 1:20am Update: All residents are accounted for with no injuries or deaths. They all have been transported to football field house due to gas leak that could not be turned off by emergency personnel. They will then be transported to different facilities. Families will be notified of where. Please bare with us as it is chaos in town.

Please pray for us… the facility took a direct hit on the southwest side of town. I don’t have much Info to pass on at this time. Will update as info is available.

Storm update:

The power has been restored around 1:40pm and we are operating as normal.

Thank you to the city and county emergency personnel who helped us with critical supplies.
Also, thank you to the citizens of Barnsdall and surrounding communities for reaching out to offer help and supplies.

We appreciate all the support!

Storm update for resident family’s:

*Update*

*We have obtained a few generators to power critical areas of the facility. PSO estimates power to be restored by 4:00pm today.

We did not sustain any damage and all residents are safe. We have lost all power, but the town of Barnsdall has been in contact with us. Pawhuska Hospital has supplied us oxygen tanks to supplement our supply via Survival Flight EMS. This was coordinated by the Sheriffs Office and the Mayor of Barnsdall. They are also working on getting us a generator. We also have a contract to obtain one if need be. No estimate on power restoration. Will update when new information is available.

When the cook gets sick and has to leave work, the Administrator comes to the rescue and hops right in there and starts serving out the food! The residents were very appreciative and every staff member jumped right in and helped! Teamwork is so amazing at BNH and it starts with great leadership ! 💪🏆
