Recovery is possible, and every step forward deserves to be celebrated. 💜

Let’s show support, spread hope, and remind our community that no one has to walk their journey alone. Together, we are building a community of hope and recovery. 🦋

Behind every ribbon is a name, a face, and a story, and a beautiful life of some special. Let’s shine a light on overdose awareness and prevention. 💜

If you feel led, we invite you to share your story so together we can break the stigma.

NOT A KEYFOB. This was shared by a colleague in the southern region of the US. Look close as this would be hard to identify if you didn’t know it existed.

We would like to thank everyone who made our Overdose Awareness Event such a meaningful day for our community. 💜

A special thank you to the Barnwell County Sheriff’s Department, the Barnwell Corner (Denise Gibson), and our incredible guest speakers:
• Daniel McGouirk, for bravely sharing his journey through recovery.
• Mary Tillett, for telling her powerful story of substance misuse and the heartbreaking loss of her son.
• Ms. Lois, for sharing her 30+ years in recovery and the strength she carries after losing her adopted son to overdose.

*Their videos are in the comment section

We are so grateful to our vendors and to SRP for their sponsorship and support. Most of all, we thank the people of Barnwell County for showing up, standing together, and honoring the lives lost to overdose. Your presence is a reminder that no family grieves alone, and that together we can continue to spread awareness, hope, and healing. 💜✨

School brings up a lot, and not all of it comes out in obvious ways. These questions can help start a real conversation, whether you're in the car, making dinner, or just hanging out. You don't need to push or pry. Just ask, listen, and let them know you're there. Sometimes a simple “What feels hard?” can open the door to something important.
