Barnwell, SC - Myrtle Elkins Faglier, 89, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on February 27, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 2 pm Mount Arnon Baptist Church, Allendale, SC. Officiated by Rev. Mike Catoe and Rev. Dennie Hutto. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March, 2, 2025, from 5-7 pm at Dyches Funeral Home, 11372 Ellenton Street, Barnwell, SC.

Myrtle was born in Allendale County to the late Freddie Anderson Elkins and Mary Olive Stevenson Elkins. She was a member of Mount Arnon Baptist Church, Allendale, SC. She loved painting, reading, gardening, baking, and birdwatching. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her two children, William (Delia) Sidney Faglier, Jr., Robin (Rudy) Hubbard of Barnwell, SC; brothers, Gene W. Elkins, of Blackville, SC, Jimmy (Denise) Elkins of Williston, SC; sister, Jeanette (Bob) Bomar of Williston, SC; four grandchildren, Dr. Richard Sease of Augusta, GA, Dr. Dillon Sease of Greenville, SC, Dr. Sidney Sease of Columbia, SC and Victoria (Jacob) Goff of Lexington, SC. Her precious great grandchild Cassian Isagani Goff and numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
She is predeceased by her late husband, William Sidney Faglier, Sr., one brother, Freddie Allen Elkins and one sister, Elizabeth (Lib) Faulkner.
The family would like to thank Helen Creech, Debra Ruth, Hattie Dunbar for taking care of their mother and Trinity Home Health and Hospice of Aiken for their kindness and generosity in their time of need.
The family will receive family and friends at the home of Sid and Delia Faglier, 9482 Marlboro Avenue, Barnwell, S.C. 29812
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
