We are grateful to share that Hannafords at 456 South Barre Road in Barre has selected Turning Point Center of Central Vermont as the recipient of their Bloomin' 4 Good program in February. For every Bloomin' 4 Good bouquet purchased, a dollar will go directly to our organization.

Community partnerships and support are a huge part of what make our work possible and keep our services free to those we serve. Thank you, Hannafords for choosing our nonprofit as the recipient.

Are you a woman in recovery or a woman who’s wanting to begin your recovery journey?

We have the group for you! Women in Recovery meetings are held weekly on Thursday from 11:30am - 12:30pm at the Episcopal Church at 39 Washington Street in Barre.

This group is a safe space to share and connect with other women. It’s a great group and we provide art supplies, AcuDetox ear acupuncture and muffins. We hope you’ll join us today!

This group is offered in collaboration with Family Center of Washington County Vermont 💜

LOVE THIS 💜

This week our team was recognized by the State of Vermont Health Department as a Certified Recovery Services Organization.

This process took close to a year to achieve, from meeting the extensive standard requirements, completing a peer audit, applying with organizational documentation, completing our certification site visit, and reviewing findings.

We are so proud of this accomplishment. Providing the best services possible to those we serve is deeply important to our team.

We appreciate all the support we received in getting us here!

This day, September 14th, emphasizes the importance of compassionate conversation about addiction, mental health, and recovery. So proud of this bunch!!

Today we had the honor of doing a presentation at North Barre Manor with a group of incredible community partners. Kudos to the Barre Housing Authority for reaching out and asking us to bring this information to their housing sites. A huge thank you to Eva Zaret of Central Vermont Prevention Coalition for coordinating and bringing these community partners together to offer these presentations. We will be doing 3 more presentations at 3 additional Barre Housing Authority locations in September and we are really looking forward to it!

THIS SUNDAY, August 31st
802 Scoop will join the Turning Point Center of Central Vermont in City Hall Park, Barre, Vt for the first Annual Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil from 6p - 8p and we hope you will join us too. There will be a memory tree, guest speakers and resource information, along with the candle lighting ceremony, where names of those lost will be read. If you would like to add a loved ones name to the list of those memorialized, please message us💜
