Nursing Home Week, Day Two! Tuesday’s theme was “Tropical Bloom Day,” and staff were encouraged to dress in their best Hawaiian attire while everyone enjoyed some delicious fruit kabobs. It was also the final day of Nurses Week, so we made sure to take time to recognize our dedicated nurses and let them know just how important and appreciated they are to all of us. 🌺🍍

Happy Nursing Home Week to the amazing staff at Barre Gardens! This week has already been full of fun and festivities as we celebrate the incredible people who make our community so special.
Monday’s theme was “Rooted in Care,” and we kicked things off by setting up our Secret Garden Shoutout Board for staff, residents, and families to recognize someone deserving of a special shout out.
We also posted our superlative categories; stay tuned, as the winners will be announced on Friday! 🌿🌸

This post may be a little delayed, but it’s never too late to recognize the wonderful mothers here at Barre Gardens! On Friday, May 8th, we celebrated Mother’s Day with a special brunch filled with delicious food, smiles, and time spent together honoring the amazing moms in our community. 💐💕
Special shout out to Denise, Julie-Anne, Hannah, Ali, Amy, Sue, and Casey for helping ensure this event went off smoothly and making the day so special for our residents!

May is the month of celebration for Barre Gardens. We kicked things off by celebrating Cinco de Mayo with delicious walking tacos and festive fun for everyone to enjoy.
Residents also had a great time taking turns hitting a piñata, making it a fun-filled celebration full of laughter and excitement.

Sarah Williams is being recognized for her willingness to collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure the wellbeing of our residents.
