Here’s where you can find us in April! 🌱

We’re dialing things back on markets for a bit as the growing season kicks into gear. Seedlings are already sprouting, and soon we’ll be out in two new garden spaces — clearing out invasive plants, building the soil, and bringing these plots back to life.
Spring is all about transitions and growth! It’s an in-between season…from seed trays to soil, with hands-in-the-dirt kind of work that sets everything else in motion.

Happy spring! 🌷

What’s on the horizon for Tilia Tea Co. this spring and summer 2026?

Growing!

We'll be transforming additional plots in Barre City from weeds to teas — expanding our footprint of regenerative, community-rooted growing spaces. Each new plot means more invasive weeds removed, more soil tended with care, and more locally grown herbs finding their way into your cup.

We’re also going to be part of the amazing communities at several local farmers markets (Barre, Montpelier, Stowe, and Waitsfield) — creating more opportunities to gather, share tea, and connect in person.

And behind the scenes, we’ll be exploring new packaging options that:
a) Don’t require us to go into debt (As any small grower knows, the economics of starting and expanding a microfarm could fill an entire update on their own);
b) Protect our hand-harvested whole leaf teas from being crushed to dust; and
c) Are better for people (fair), our planet (sustainable), and our teas (kept fresh!).

So, you know, not much (ha. ha. ha.)

But we’re here. We’re building steadily. We’re doing it thoughtfully. And we’re so grateful to have you alongside us on this journey. 🌱

At Tilia Tea Company, our tea gardens start as… well, weeds. 🌱

We partner with local landowners who have underutilized or undevelopable pieces of land — spaces that might otherwise sit unused. We remove invasive plants, rebuild the soil, and turn these little patches into thriving organic micro-farms full of herbs and flowers for tea.

Watching a neglected space become a vibrant, productive garden is pretty incredible. Along the way, these gardens begin welcoming native pollinators, curious neighbors, and community volunteers.

When you purchase our teas, you’re helping make these transformations possible — thank you for supporting our work. 🌼
