This ***dePreventionMonth, we want to remind you that connection is truly our greatest strength in the fight against su***de.

At AFSP, we foster a caring community of people who walk together, learn together, understand and encourage each other, and cheer each other on through their healing. Family, friends, neighbors, students and coworkers who’ve got each other’s backs, looking out for each other.

When people come together, hope can win.

Su***de Awareness Prevention month is almost here. Join an event today to learn how to support those who struggle or have lost someone to su***de! 💜💙💜💙

Last week, CHL hosted the event "Facing Su***de Together: Stories of Hope and Healing," which included live storytelling, a screening, and a panel discussion. Sarah Gaer was the keynote. This gathering brought together individuals in Montpelier for an inspiring celebration of courageous Vermonters affected by su***de.

Attendees listened to powerful stories of hope and recovery at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. This event is part of the FacingSu***deVT campaign, in partnership with the Vermont Department of Health and supported by CDC funding.

If you would like to get involved in su***de prevention efforts, download a copy of the new 2025 Su***de Prevention Awareness Month guide at https://bit.ly/SPAMguide2025. Together, we can make a difference. ***deprevention
