What began as a simple act of care blossomed into a profound journey of connection and purpose. One of our clients graciously invited us to a fundraising dinner hosted by Kelly Vance, Vice President of Sunbeams Uganda-a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people in Uganda through education, community development, and the transformative love of Christ.
Little did we know how deeply personal this evening would become.
Our remarkable team member, David, hails from Uganda. Upon learning this, Kelly invited him to share his story-his childhood, the challenges he faced, and how life-changing organizations like Sunbeams truly are.
Sunbeams Ugandaโs mission is rooted in faith: to encourage, equip, and empower the people of Kijjude Village by developing a self-sustaining community through genuine relationships and the love of Christ. Their projects range from building schools and teacher housing to vocational training programs that restore dignity and hope.
We are deeply grateful to have been part of such a powerful and heartwarming event. So many meaningful connections were made that night-and it all started ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
