Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are such a gift that not enough people know about. Today I’ll introduce myself…after that…just all the reasons why I ❤️acupuncture! I’ve practiced in the Barrington area since 2002. My practice is an absolute extension of who I am. Chinese Medicine reflects my love of nature, my wonder of subtle energies and my drive to care for people. It is complex enough to always excite my intellectual side and simple enough to let me feel the power of being part of a very natural process. I love it! And I’d love to hear your thoughts! I’m writing to say goodbye! My time at Healing Traditions has come to an end; a sudden and unceremonious end. An end that certainly doesn’t reflect the amount of life that I’ve met through this practice.

Tomorrow will begin my new adventure as the acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine practitioner at Exhale Sinus and Facial Pain Center in Schaumburg! I’m excited for this change and thrilled to be part of a truly great team. We are a group of practitioners led by Dr. Ryan Vaughn, who are truly committed to doing what it takes to get people out of pain and into true wellness. It’s an exciting time!

But I would be incomplete if I didn’t grieve, just a bit, the loss of Healing Traditions of Barrington. In the times before CoronaVirus, I’d hoped to find someone that would carry this practice forward; that would allow what we’ve built to continue. But time had a different plan and took away that possibility. So, to all of my clients that I’ve seen over the past 18 years, whether you’ve been with me once or the entire time, I’m so grateful to you. You have all given me more than I could imagine giving to you! I will love it if you can follow me to Exhale. Whether you can or not, please know I will still be here for you. I will keep the phone number for your texts and calls and hope that we can see each other again!
