Barrington Ambulance mourns the loss of Chief Jim Arpino, Sr.

As Fire Marshal 91, Chief Arpino led the Barrington Regional Fire Prevention Bureau with integrity and dedication. As our friend, his contributions have been too great to measure, and he will be deeply missed.

We extend our sincerest condolences to the Chief’s family and friends, along with the fire service community.

DRCCs play a vital role in supporting communities during disasters by providing emotional and behavioral health support. No clinical experience is required—just a willingness to help. Free training, workforce resources, and hands-on experience are available. Join the effort to assist first responders and those in crisis.
