Join us for Doulas Supporting the Breastfeeding Family, a powerful and practical workshop designed to help doulas better support families through their feeding journeys. Whether you’re looking to deepen your knowledge or feel more confident guiding your clients, this is for you.

Hi ! I’m Marcella DeRosa, owner of Born With Love Doulas. I started as a in 2013 after the traumatic and then healing experiences of my first and then second births of my first 2 children. I was inspired to help expectant parents have a peaceful and empowering birth experience as I embarked on my new career as a . Fun fact, prior to becoming a doula I was a legal secretary and then a preschool teacher!

I spent 2013 through 2020 as a busy birth doula. During this time I also had 2 more babies!

Around 2020 I started realizing that I liked being a after taking on a couple clients who asked. It was really rewarding work to get to see new parents thrive, feel confident, reassured, and rested. As I took on less clients as a birth doula (because of 2020 climate mostly) I really got busier as a postpartum doula as was in school to become an . It was great timing to do something I always wanted to do! I wasn’t on call as much, I was working mostly overnight, and had days free to accomplish this dream!

In 2023 I finally became a ! I was also simultaneously bringing on a team of amazing doulas to help Born With Love Doulas serve our clients. Today we have a team of experienced doulas who serve clients toward the birth they envision and postpartum care to help with daytime tasks as well as getting you the rest and healing you need overnight.

If you reach out to us, you will scheudle a zoom with me 👋! We will discuss all the details about the support your planning on having, your options, your needs, and how we can support you. I will then match you with a doula who is a great match for you!

If you’re planning on breastfeeding, you may want to establish care with me 👋. You can come to my office for a prenatal lactation consult and see me in your home for new baby and follow up consults to be sure all is well. I’m in network with many insurance plans.

The period after where healing is taking place, figuring out life after baby, sleeping, , and so much more should be a time to relish in. A time to exhale, pause the everyday, have immense joy and gratitude for this incredible process of connecting to your and your new self ❤️

The often feels like work, like life turned upside down, like anxiety, and uncertainty. The main reason being, the lack of support. New parents need confidence, rest, and to be cared for during this transitional time.

✔️The way you feed your baby is your choice
✔️How you soothe your baby does not require you to explain yourself
✔️Whether your baby sleeps with you or in their own space, is up to you
✔️There is no such thing as right or wrong, just right or wrong for you and your family !
✔️Just because your mom or sister did things a certain way, it does not mean you have to
✔️Every baby is different, you may need to parent differently than what other think is the “right” way
✔️Know that everyone is not an expert even if they’re “done it and it worked for them”
