This week, we explore the final limb of yoga, samadhi or bliss.
I think this can be a hard one to grasp and translation can create an obstacle for us. We think that bliss must be this euphoric state where everything is going perfectly.
But…. what if Bliss was (to quote one of my students) “unwavering acceptance?” What if it was the ability to be with whatever is present and still know yourself whole? Even when you’re sad or lonely or invigorated or happy? To be able to be with whatever you’re experiencing and want for nothing!
Our yoga practice allows us to explore what draws us out of the state of acceptance and away from bliss.
The expectations. The perfectionism. The need to do more (or less).
This week, let’s observe what draws us away from ourselves, and seek to invite more acceptance and more ease into our daily life.❤️
