But it’s super important for parents of kids with all ages to take the proper steps to ensure it does not impact the wellness of the child.

One challenging thing about working with kids who have ✨complex trauma✨ is helping the adults who care about them understand why trauma processing and “working through their stuff” cannot, and should not, be forced. It’s always important to offer ongoing support, but we really cannot be setting an agenda that goes against what their nervous system is ready for.
