This is a tale of two caps. The cap on the left is what we call an Open Cap. We use it on our 1/3 oz (10 ml) bottles. It seals very well for shipping and screws off so you can use your finger to apply your oils to your skin, or pour from it into another bottle if you are making your own scented creations.
The cap on the right is what we call a Dropper Cap. It screws onto your 1/3 oz bottle and seals with a click. It is designed to only dispense one drop of oil at a time. It works well if you want to use your oils in a diffuser or if you are concerned about spilling your oils.
We ship 1/3 oz bottles with Open Caps on them as they do better in transit. We always include a Dropper Cap in a small ziploc bag so you have the option to use whichever cap is more convenient for you. When we sell at fairs, our 1/3 oz bottles have Open Caps on them for ease in transit. When we have time, we will offer you a Dropper Cap. If we are rushed, we may not. You can always ask us first a dropper cap at a fair if we have not offered it. There is no extra charge for them. In the store, we will almost always offer you a dropper cap.
