The weather was perfect today for the responders to come visit with the residents and family! Thank you, first responders, for bringing your service vehicles and your service animals to Brookdale. On behalf of the residents, family members, and staff, we say, "Thank you for all you do and for putting yourselves on the line for our safety and well-being." The day ended with hamburgers, hot dogs, and dessert as a way to show how much we appreciate our city officials!

Friendship and relationships are important to the residents. One of the residents' favorite visiting places is outside when the weather is nice and breezy. Carolyn just heard a joke from one of the ladies, and it is very apparent that it is a funny one!
