The residents were excited to have lunch and a Bible study with our local Pastor, Brian Fuller. The bible study over Psalm 23 was so good that the residents welcomed Pastor Fuller to come back anytime! Pastor Fuller has a heartbeat and a passion for people. Nicole Jorgensen is an amazing lady! Nicole started working for Brookdale in 2003. She worked at Brookdale while going through LPN school and RN school. Nicole received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2010 and has been the Health and Wellness Director for 14 years. Happy birthday, Nicole. We appreciate you!!!

The weather was perfect today for the responders to come visit with the residents and family! Thank you, first responders, for bringing your service vehicles and your service animals to Brookdale. On behalf of the residents, family members, and staff, we say, "Thank you for all you do and for putting yourselves on the line for our safety and well-being." The day ended with hamburgers, hot dogs, and dessert as a way to show how much we appreciate our city officials!

It is the perfect day to visit Joy Allen Park. The residents not only enjoyed the sunshine, but they also enjoyed each other's company, and the flock of geese was a welcome bonus!
