In recovery we need grounding techniques. Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending a Leadership workshop at Grace Community Church. They shared with us a lot of different tools, but this one really stood out to me. Grounding with the 5 senses. We practiced it with some breathing techniques. What a great way to reset.

*We are moving right along with renovations to the hotel formerly known as The Emerald. Our recovery center Room at the Inn is set to open in 2025. We at Nehemiah CDC are looking forward to serving Bartlesville and surrounding communities with Hope, Health and housing.
