Going through a divorce? If you're feeling lost and disconnected from yourself, it's crucial to change these patterns and reclaim your own life.

1. Ignoring Your Own Feelings 😟
Listen to Yourself: Make it a habit to check in with your feelings every day. Journaling or meditating can help you stay connected to your emotions and understand what you truly need. Don't shy away from expressing your feelings to others. They matter!

2. Apologizing Frequently 🙇‍♀️
Stand in Your Truth: Notice when you’re apologizing unnecessarily. Instead, practice affirming your right to take up space and have an opinion. Try replacing “I’m sorry” with “Thank you for understanding” or simply speaking confidently without apologizing.

3. Being Overly Critical of Yourself 🪞
Practice Self-Compassion: Catch yourself when you start being overly critical. Replace negative thoughts with positive affirmations. Remind yourself that making mistakes is part of being human, and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small.

4. Skipping Self-Care for Others ⏳
Prioritize Your Needs: Schedule regular self-care activities and treat them as non-negotiable appointments with yourself. Whether it’s reading a book, taking a walk, or having a relaxing bath, make self-care a priority to recharge and rejuvenate.
