Meet our therapist: Suelynn Hartness

Suelynn is a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Most recently, she has been working with children and adults who have experienced trauma in their lives. Suelynn holds an MSSW from the University of Tennessee with a Trauma Treatment certificate. She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, CBT, and EMDR. Suelynn utilizes a person-centered approach and attachment theory in her practice to help client’s realize the goals they want to accomplish. As an adoptive mom herself, Suelynn enjoys working with families who have adopted. Additionally, she enjoys working with children, families, and adults who experienced childhood trauma, parenting challenges, establishing healthy boundaries, life transitions, grief, depression, and anxiety. Olivia specializes in working with adults who need help navigating anxiety, depression, anxiety concerns, relational conflicts, and life transitions. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and utilizes her faith to welcome clients who desire to integrate their beliefs into the counseling process. Olivia is well versed in person-centered and cognitive behavior theories to provide her clients with an integrative approach that helps create meaningful change. If you are looking for help in processing your emotions, practical skill-building, or understanding and bettering your relationships, Olivia is currently accepting new clients!
