Non-Profit Nursing Home located in Bartlett, TN The King’s Daughters and Sons Home is truly a special home.

We opened on March 1, 1908 with two residents, and celebrated our 100th anniversary in 2008. Today, we have grown into a modern 108-bed nursing care facility offering comprehensive nursing at the sub-acute, skilled and restorative levels. Our care is patient centered; under the supervision of a physician we create an individualized plan of care for each resident with our interdisciplinary team tha

t is based on each resident’s strengths, needs and goals. Our rehabilitation, nursing and social services departments work together with the ultimate goal of functional improvement, better quality of life and safe, successful discharge.

It is national social workers month! Our Social Workers are the BEST. These signs are hanging in our front hallway for anyone to write a note in the flowers and let the social workers know how much they appreciate them. Please stop by, ask reception for a marker if you need one !

Full house today 🙏 Our employees didn’t get a snow day, but they enjoyed some time in it ( on their break of course ). We are so thankful for them and that the roads were better today and the sun is out !

💙 So proud of our team ❄️
Even in the middle of this snow and ice storm, our team showed up in a big way. Our weekend staff has gone above and beyond—driving in through bad conditions, staying late, sleeping here, and jumping into whatever role was needed. We have maintenance driving employees back and forth, nurses helping as CNAs, weekday staff coming in to help, and everyone working together to make sure our residents are well cared for and families don’t have to worry about being out on the roads.
It is not over yet, looks like we have a long week ahead. But we wanted to thank you all for showing up, supporting each other, and taking such great care of our residents. We see you, and we appreciate you more than you know. 💙👏

Another successful Angel Tree event in the books! 🎁🎄 All of our residents received gifts, thanks to the hard work of our amazing staff—especially Activities and Social Services—and the kindness of our generous donors who chose angels and donated gifts. We are so grateful for everyone who helped spread holiday cheer! Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday from KDSH ❤️❤️

On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of our nation’s veterans. We are grateful for the veterans here at KDSH, and for all veterans everywhere. Your service has strengthened not only our country, but also the families and communities you continue to inspire. Your bravery sets an example for us all, and we thank you deeply for your commitment.
