Taking the weather into consideration, I cleared my schedule for the remainder of the week. Since today’s high is above freezing, I’m going to open Friday and Saturday hopefully the roads will clear and I can make it out of the forest. See you guys soon!

Quick update on availability for Nadia and Amanda over the next few weeks.
Amanda just had a cancellation for tomorrow 11/4/25. Book now, it wont be there long.

She will also be out of town the week of 11/10/25 for a conference in Vegas. (No, not getting married 🙂) Nadia has opened her schedule so she will be here to see anyone wanting or needing to get here while she is gone.

Meet Nadia! She will be joining Bartlett Therapeutic Massage August 8, 2025! She’ll be taking over those Friday, Saturday AND Sunday sessions.
Nadia is a Bartlett native and has been practicing massage therapy since 2022.

If you have ever heard me say “every physical body is different” this is what I mean. The sciatic nerve exits the lumbar spine and dives deep into the glutes. Depending on which of these your body has it will either go under or pierce the piriformis muscle. The piriformis muscles is pear shaped originating from the sacrum and inserts at the greater trochanter in the hip. Its action is external rotation. One way I check for this is watching you walk or if your feet rotate out when you are relaxed. If you have an impingement, you most certainly know it.
These are just some examples of how the sciatic nerve and piriformis muscle is formed while we are in utero. 
Staying active and finding a routine that works for you is just as individual as we are. There is no “one size fits all” approach.

About a month ago we found out some pretty hard news about my mom. They found a tumor in her pancreas. While we don’t have an official diagnosis right now, it’s looking like pancreatic cancer. Finishing up the tests has been a very long ordeal due to red tape at every turn.
We don’t know plans or what she’ll decide to do. Right now we’re just focused on enjoying the holidays.

With that being said, starting asap I’m cutting back on my hours. I’ll be in the office Monday-Thursday for this season of life to spend as much time as I can with her. I’ll have to make adjustments as they come up.

I am grateful for your understanding and patience.
