Dr. Lennox Hoyte and the caring staff at The Pelvic Floor Institute are experts in providing personalized care and attention to every patient. Fellowship trained and Board Certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Hoyte focuses on making his patients feel listened to, knowledgeable about their condition and comfortable with their care and experience. He uses proven, evidence-based surgical and nonsurgical treatments for women with pelvic floor disorders. A recognized expert in imaging and biomechanics of the female pelvic organs, he is also one of the leading robotic prolapse surgeons in the world and has trained over 60 surgeons in the use of the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical system. Dr. Hoyte has authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and is active in pelvic floor biomechanics research. He wrote the book "Prolapse Repair", co-edited the groundbreaking textbook "Biomechanics of the Female Pelvic Floor" and holds multiple patents related to urogynecologic surgery. Dr. Hoyte and the dynamic staff at PFI are passionate about teaching women and their families about diagnosis and treatment options for pelvic prolapse, bladder and bowel control problems, myofascial pain, childbirth related pelvic floor injury, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and complications related to vaginal and abdominal mesh and sling surgeries.
