Breakfast of champs! I was recently asked by a client and friend what breakfast usually looks like for me. If you know me, you know that I have strong feelings about eating a good solid meal to start my day. 9/10 times that looks like a high quality protein like eggs, some sauteed veggies and homemade sourdough bread with a nice pat of grass fed butter.
For my fellow food nerds, eggs are an amazing source of protein but also contain important good-for-your-brain-and-body micronutrients like Vit A, D and E choline. True long-ferment sourdough is often easier to digest that other wheat breads, and the fermentation process it undergoes lowers it's glycemic index, making it a solid carb choice. And we'll all know veggies are so so good for us.

If you, like Rye, are struggling to choose the correct weight, here's a tip: light enough so by the end of your rep set, you are still be able to complete your exercise with good form and proper mechanics, heavy enough that you feel like you couldn't do many more reps than what are prescribed. Happy lifting!
