Say hello to the first and friendliest face you see when you walk in our doors, Doreen! Dor has been answering all of your questions and calls, scheduling your appointments, and keeping our busy days flowing smoothly since July 2022. As a customer service representative/ receptionist, we couldn’t have asked for a more personable and positive human to be the face of Willits Vet. Doreen has come to love connecting with all of our wonderful clients who only want the best for their pets. When she’s not busy making your (and our) day a little brighter, you can find her hiking, biking, Nordic skiing, or golfing! Next time you stop in the Basalt clinic, give Doreen a THANK YOU! 🐾

Meet RVT extraordinaire, Lindsay! Linds started with Willits Vet in 2019 and graduated as a veterinary technician from CMC in 2020. She’s now been a lead tech for the practice for 5 years and continues to amaze us with her expertise and passion for medicine. Lindsay is a certified End of Life & Palliative Care Tech through Chi University which goes to show her immense compassion for the welfare of our critters. She says “being able to foster long term relationships with clients and their pets is my favorite part of veterinary medicine”. Not only is she the sweetest human, but one of the strongest leaders and role models a practice can have. To know her is to love her and we are SO lucky we do! Next time you see Lindsay and her ✨ ever-changing hair color ✨ in Glenwood or Basalt, give her a THANK YOU! 🐾

The last January employee highlight goes to one of our newest friendly faces, Mallaby!(and her pup Rosie) 🐾 Mallaby is a registered technician who graduated from the CMC vet tech program in 2024 and joined the Willits crew this past October. She loves interacting with all the different patients and she’s also grown fond of placing IV catheters and endotracheal tubes! Mallaby is constantly learning and growing with a smile on her face, and we’ve recently learned that she plays not one but TWO instruments 🎹 🎻. What can’t she do!? Next time you see Mallaby in the Basalt clinic, give her a THANK YOU! 🐾

Happy New Year from your friendly neighborhood Willits Vet staff! 🐾 Ringing in 2026 with weekly teammate appreciation is Kendra! Kendra (seen with her bearded dragon Taco) is our wonderful veterinary technician assistant who has been with the team since 2022. She is a jack of all trades as she has worked as a receptionist as well as in patient care in our Glenwood clinic. You’ll always find her eager to learn with a smile on her face. “My favorite part about working for Willits Vet is all the different animals I get to see everyday! I just love them all…(and their people are pretty cool too)” Let’s give Kendra a much deserved THANK YOU!
