Ever seen your child melt down over cutting paper or holding a pencil?

It’s not about laziness, it’s about frustration. And often, that frustration comes from tasks that feel just too hard for their hands right now! 💬

Fine motor skills take time, support, and practice, and there are ways to help:
🖍 Use larger crayons or adaptive scissors
🧩 Break tasks into smaller steps
🍪 Prep with play (like playdough or cookie cutters!)
🧘‍♀️ Try calming sensory input first, like deep pressure or hand squeezes
