From Riverwalk Pharmacy about Covid-19 testing:

Please be advised all the PCR tests from now until the situation improves will take 5-7 days for results. Please be kind and patient waiting for your turn to be seen. Please refrain from any negative comments or unkind statements. This is a state wide situation. Riverwalk is the same, the lab is the same but the amount of positives and limited staff, limited supplies “vials and swabs” and limited testing sites lead us to where we are now. If you are traveling or attending an event and need the results within 48 hours, unfortunately, there is no guarantee at all.

Rapid testing is limited supplies, please check before you head to the pharmacy.

Riverwalk pharmacy is happy to announce that we will be administering the Pfizer pediatric dose starting today after The CDC Director has adopted ACIP recommendations of the Pfizer pediatric formulation for children ages 5 through 11. No appointments needed but we would appreciate if people understand that there will be a wait time.

Pediatric Pfizer covid vaccine is on order for Riverwalk Pharmacy and will be available the first week in November. The pediatric dose is now approved for ages between 5-11 years old. We still have the adult dose. Moderna and J&J are still available as well.
