We keep growing and we need more people to help us!!!Midwest Country Clinic, LLC is hiring additional office assistants for our mental health and substance abuse services, training and consulting business. Successful applicants must have excellent customer service skills for answering the phone and scheduling. Working with numerous schedules, electronic records, communicating through various forms of media, working with insurance and various other payer sources, and commitment to quality of service to clients as well as providers is a must. A number one priority in hiring is the appreciation for and compliance with confidentiality rules and expectations. Computer skills are necessary. We are willing to train the right applicant. This is a full or part-time time position with some opportunity for advancement. Experience with medical credentialing and scheduling is a plus! Although training and some work would need to take place at the Bassett, Nebraska location, this individual can be primarily based out of Valentine, NE, Burwell, NE or Bassett, NE offices. This year at the Days of ’76 Rodeo you might notice yellow feathers on hats — they are more than just a trend or decoration. These feathers are part of a powerful movement for su***de prevention and mental health awareness in the rodeo, farming, and ranching communities

Rural communities are tight-knit — but they can also be isolated. The su***de rate among agricultural workers is 3.5 times higher than the national average. Long hours, financial strain, unpredictable weather, and the pressure to carry on generational legacies all take a toll.

The yellow feathers signify the "Pick-Up Man" Campaign. In the rodeo arena, the pick-up man is a lifesaver. The riders know to reach out for help. That example can be used by anyone to help save the life of someone experiencing depression or thoughts of su***de. Wearing these yellow feathers symbolizes you are willing to be someone's "Pick-Up Man".

We have partnered with Action for Betterment of our Community to get the arena filled with yellow feathers to honor those we've lost, to spark conversation, and to remind everyone that you are never alone — even in your darkest moments. The Days of ’76 Rodeo stands in solidarity with this cause and hope you will join us.

We are excited to introduce Hailey! She is accepting new clients in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Hailey also works Saturday!

Hailey Ahlman, PLMHP received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University in May 2020. Hailey completed her Master of Science in Education Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December of 2023. Hailey has experience working in-home with parents, adolescents, and children as well as experience working with individuals recovering from addiction. Hailey especially enjoys working with families and children and is based out of Broken Bow, NE. Outside of therapy, Hailey enjoys spending time with her family as well as her cats.
