Bland County Medical Clinic page is here for you, our patients! We want to reach out and provide our patients with the best healthcare possible and that includes having a page where individuals can come to receive health care education, updated information about the clinic, and learn about community events that might be of benefit to their health. This page is NOT for individuals wishing to make a complaint or to post vulgar, abusive or otherwise harmful content. Our clinic offers a variety of health care services for your needs. We have ultrasound, diagnostic x-ray, bone densitometry, lab, EKG, pulmonary function, behavioral health and dental services..just to name a few of the many things our clinic can offer you and your family. It should be noted, however, that we are not a pain management clinic. Our providers desire to help you achieve your health care goals, but pain management is a complex specialty, that requires a provider who is able to provide a variety of options to patients experiencing chronic pain. Our facility does not have that capability. Because we understand what it's like to juggle the many things in your life, we offer two late evenings each week to help you have extra hours available. Additionally, our clinic welcomes walk-in patients, and each provider has blocked off same-day appointments available for those times when you wake up and realize you have just taken your last dose of prescription medication and need an appointment ASAP. As part of our dedication to our patients, BCMC has worked to become a Patient Centered Medical Home. We are a certified, level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home. The concept behind being a medical home means that our focus is on a patient's entire needs, not necessarily just those involving direct health care. For example our clinic works to aid or find aid for patients who are having difficulty obtaining their medications, to sign up for insurance/file for Medicaid. As part of a medical home our clinic is devoted to helping families stay healthy together. We welcome patient's to ask for input from their family members when determining the best treatment plan for their conditions and will aid patients in ensuring their needs are met. Our goal at Bland County Medical Clinic is to ensure that the community has all of the resources necessary in order to become a healthy community. That's why we also offer our Healthy Neighborhood Program and Medication Assistance Program. Our Healthy Neighborhood Program provides a sliding fee scale for those who meet the financial requirements. Likewise, our Medication Assistance Program is there to help individuals obtain aid in obtaining their medications whenever financial constraints prevent them from obtaining their medications from a retail pharmacy.
