Silver Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

There are over five million nurses across the country, whose immense daily contributions to healthcare cannot be overstated. Nurses act as advocates, caregivers, and a steady support system for patients, residents, and their families, helping maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life. 💙

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month!

🔍 Did you know? According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), older adults with hearing loss are three times more likely to experience falls. Hearing is essential for balance and spatial awareness, making early detection and support critical for injury prevention.

👂 As we age, many factors can affect hearing.

🥄 Speech-language pathologists and audiologists play a key role in helping patients and residents communicate clearly, eat safely, and stay connected—supporting both health and independence!
