Board-certified family physician Pompeyo Chavez, MD, is the founder and medical director of Soulage Wellness & Aesthetic Center in Bastrop, Texas. The state-of-the-art aesthetic and wellness center is proud to offer a wide range of services to help patients improve their skin and overall health.
Dr. Chavez earned his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of San Martín de Porres in Lima, Peru. He finished his internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. During his residency, he served as chief resident. He always had an interest in aesthetics and technology and his growing interest inspired him to undergo further training in the application of laser and light-based technologies on the skin. Dr. Chavez has also completed more in-depth training in aesthetics through the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and many other professional organizations. He is currently in the process of obtaining his board certification in aesthetic medicine.
At Soulage Wellness & Aesthetic Center, Dr. Chavez and the team focus on delivering high-quality results while preserving a natural look. Together, the expert team has more than 20 years of experience that includes domestic and international training.
