ATTENTION:
It’s not just a dental cleaning appointment!! You get so much more! We will go over your medical history, medications/supplements, your eating/drinking habits and even take your blood pressure! Why? Your dental health is a gate way to your overall health! Your medications can have a toll on your gums and even cause dry mouth. In some cases, you may actually be allergic to your medications and your mouth tells the story! Some of you are taking more blood pressure medication then needed and some are not taking enough. Are you a heart attack waiting to happen? Neglect can kill you!
We will do an oral cancer screening! How many of you have red or white spots or even lumps or bumps in your mouth that should not be there? Well, we have found a few that have sent our patients to MD Anderson! Some patients were in their 20s and others in their 60s. Do your gums bleed when you brush or do you see puss in your mouth? The bacteria you are swallowing is going into your body and when brushing or eating it gets pushed into your bloodstream where the blood is circulating throughout your heart and body! We will look at the big picture not just your teeth! When is the last time you had a thorough dental exam? 🦷❤️
