As well as an amazing experienced and qualified labor doula, Ellie is a trained life coach, breastfeeding and childbirth educator, placenta specialist, and is currently working towards becoming a midwife while earning her PhD in naturopathic medicine
Ellie has dedicated her life to holistic medicine and learning about pregnancy, childbirth and family education. She has been serving families since 2009 and believes that women deserve to feel empowered, educated and supported during their pregnancy and birth. She believes that we hold onto our birth experience for the rest of our lives and the experience molds us into the parents that our children need us to be. Ellie is the mother of four children. She has been interested in birth work her entire life and is passionate about supporting women from conception into parenthood. She believes as a doula her role is to gently guide women to find a sense of calm within themselves so they can discover their own voice, strength, and unique capacity to give birth and become an amazing mother. Ellie strives to help couples work together in pregnancy to prepare for their birth and use those skills during their labor. She has experience with Twins, VBAC, HBAC, Hypnobirthing, Lamaze, complicated as well as normal pregnancies and has worked in almost every hospital in Austin and surrounding areas. She is also very passionate about Photography and offers maternity, birth, newborn and family photography services
