Pathways Women & Family Center Pathways Women & Family Center. (formerly the Bastrop Pregnancy Resource Center) We also help foster parents with their newly assigned little ones.

We offer free pregnancy tests, diapers and wipes, formula, baby clothes (preemie size through 2T), maternity clothes, high chairs, and many other items a young parent needs. We have free classes in breastfeeding, parenting (for infants and for toddlers), life skills, budgeting, Bible studies, etc. We share God's love with each client in every way we can. We have 2 locations: Our Center (parenting education classes and resources) are located at 125 Lower Red Rock Road, Bastrop,TX.. Our Clinic (pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and parenting options) is located at 150 Settlement Drive, Suite B-2, Bastrop, Texas.

Our new building sign is officially up at Pathways Women and Family Center, and we’re so excited to see this new chapter come to life.

This feels like such a meaningful new beginning for us, and we’re truly looking forward to what’s ahead as we continue serving women and families in our community.

**NAME CHANGE: Bastrop Pregnancy Resource Center is NOW Pathways Women & Family Center

We are so excited to continue to share the news of our name change. We felt the name "Bastrop Pregnancy Resource Center" did not accurately represent all that we did as a community mission organization. We do so much more, all for free and open to anyone who needs it. You do not have to live in Bastrop County to use our services.

Parenting Educational classes (Spanish & English), with free childcare, teaching evidence based circulum lead by a community instructor.

Maternity clothing closet
Case management for our pregnant clients
Mens Support programs
Ultasounds
Pregnancy testing and confirmation of pregnancy for Medicaid
Assisting clients as needed to sign up for Medicaid services.
Pre-natal education with all pregnancy clients
Faith-based support and counseling
Adoption information and support
Options counseling, including accurate information about abortion
Soon: STI testing, Abortion Pill Reversal, and Abortion recovery programs.

Have you taken the Plan B pill and are still unsure if you might be pregnant? It’s still important to take a pregnancy test to know for sure.

At Pathways Women and Family Center, we offer free medical-grade pregnancy tests that are more sensitive than most over-the-counter tests. Our team is here to walk you through the results and answer any questions you may have.

If your test comes back positive, you may also be eligible for a free ultrasound to learn more about your pregnancy. Call or text us to schedule an appointment. We’re here to help and support you.

Our Story

Pregnancy should be a time of great joy and excitement, but when it happens unexpectedly it can be scary and overwhelming. Some women act without hearing all of their options and without understanding the weight of their decisions. In November of 2009, two women decided that those scared young women needed to be cared for, listened to, and informed about their options. Thus, the Bastrop Pregnancy Resource Center (BPRC) was established and opened to help young pregnant women in Bastrop County.

At BPRC our services include free pregnancy testing, training classes, referrals, and material needs. Join our "MAP" program to earn "Baby Bucks" for the material items. Visit our website at bastropprc.org. We are here to support, love, encourage, and help guide you throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born.
