We’ve had such a blessed Christmas season so far. Thursday night was our family celebration followed by our staff party on Friday. We very much enjoyed New Bethel, New Horizons Youth and the Bastrop Choir’s wonderful singing; we were able to collect and donate lots of toys for the Willis Robinson Restoration of Hope Community Center and the National Association of University Women donated wonderful gifts for the residents. This is just a small example of the love & blessings this community has brought to our residents and staff this season. We are so blessed and grateful! Merry Christmas to all! 🎄

Oh What Fun we’re having this December!! We’ve been busy busy with lots of activities, games, & celebrations. The residents got a kick out of our caroling throughout the facility in our Christmas Jammies. Mrs Iris & Mook have worked so hard on decorating our residents’ doors and have been so instrumental in helping spread the Christmas cheer. We loved having the Bastrop Choir come and bless us with their singing! The residents enjoyed it so much. And we’ve had a ball helping the residents get all dolled up and taking their annual “glamour shots”. We ended the cold week with Christmas music and yummy hot cocoa. Let the festivities continue! 🎄

What a fabulous turn out we had for our Thanksgiving dinner last night! We had such a great time and the residents were so happy to have their loved ones share in the festivities! And our Dietary Department showed out on our feast!! We certainly do have so much to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving from our Cherry Ridge family to yours. 🧡🤎💛

Beekman Beta Club students brought their fabulously decorated pumpkins for the residents to enjoy. The sweet students were so well behaved and took time to walk around and visit with the residents 🎃 🧡🖤👻

No tricks and ALL treats this Halloween! We have had such a fun day! The residents always get such a kick out of seeing what crazy costumes the staff put together, and this year’s theme did not disappoint. They loved recognizing and reminiscing about the nostalgic Hanna Barbera characters.
Beekman Beta Club students continued the excitement when they brought their fabulously decorated pumpkins for the residents to enjoy. The sweet students were so well behaved and took time to walk around and visit with with the residents. Children are such a gift and they always bring lots of smiles to our residents’ faces.
Then came time to party! 🎃 🎊 We had a great turn out for our carnival and the games and cake walk were a hit!

October is always a fun month and we sure ended it with a bang. 💥 🧡🖤
