On Thursday, October 23 at 7 pm our classmate, Carole Haber, will be inducted into the Musicians of Note at Batavia High School. Carole has had a distinguished career in vocal performance and teaching voice at the college level. Although she is unable to be at this ceremony, we hope that many class members will come to witness this honor and celebrate her!

Unable to attend the reunion, I'm reading everyone's comments and praises to the Committee, Joe, Doug and others, calling everyone by first name and other warm fuzzies, it feels like we walked across the stage under the Willow Tree on State St just yesterday. I'm so grateful we are still close after 50 years. We were and ARE an awesome class.

Y’all did an awesome job. Looking at it from afar, it looks to be one of the bes, if not the BEST Doug Veltz you did fantastic job with promotion and marketing and Facebook posts. It was a beautiful day to reconnect with classmates on a walk of the Ellicott Trail.

Thank you everyone who attended the first day events of our 50th reunion! The fun continues today, Saturday, 8/2, with these events:

10:00 am - walk of Ellicott Trail from Williams Park to Dewitt Park. Meet at 9:30 at Dewitt (second entrance near playground) if you want a ride to the start. Or be at Williams ready to walk by 10.

11:00 am - following the walk we’ll be gathering at Dewitt Park, at the smallest shelter, near the pond.

5:30 pm - gathering begins on the patio at TF Browns, including dinner for those who made reservations.

7:30 pm - those who did not make a reservation are welcome to join us on the patio at TF’s.
