SOZO the name of my business means to heal, protect, preserve and make new. In Christ we are a new creation and here at Sozo massage I pray God works through me to create a better functioning body for many years to come. This is my passion and I believe my God given gift. My business is here at our home as I am also a full time mom of 3 and wife of a farmer. I have been a massage therapist for 16 years. I have been licensed by the state of Iowa and nationally certified through NCBTMB for 13 years. I was trained in Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage as well as Reflexology and Ear Candling. I also received training in active resisted stretches which elongates muscles to give better range of motion, better flexibility and helps prevent injury. These courses were taken in my schooling at Touch of Life School of Massage in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I have since taken courses in pregnancy massage and Zero Balance to name a few. Since I am also a farmer’s wife and mother of 3 my massage business is at my home. And since our addition my massage room is no longer in the basement but now on the first floor.
