magic shimmers, winter calls.
Your elves have found a chilly spot
Where snowfall happens—though it’s not!
No storms or flakes from clouds will pour,
Yet snow falls indoors on the first floor.
Go search where fake snow drifts and flows.
A snowy world that doesn’t freeze…
Look where the inside blizzard’s just for fun and meant to please!

The Elves Have Escaped!

It seems the Heritage Woods of Batavia elves have had quite enough of snowflakes and chilly winds… because they’ve officially ESCAPED to a warmer climate!

Tired of shivering on the shelves, they packed their tiny bags, grabbed their beach gear, and landed themselves on a sunny shoreline—complete with seashells, sandcastles, and plenty of tropical relaxation.

While we’re bundling up here in Illinois, our mischievous little travelers are soaking up the sunshine, working on their tan (SPF 1000, of course), and enjoying a well-deserved vacation.

Who knows what beachy adventures they’ll get into next? Stay tuned… the elves of Heritage Woods are just getting started!

Our Elf on the Shelf has officially arrived. He popped in this morning, sprinkled a little Christmas magic around Heritage Woods, and is already up to something. Let the holiday fun begin. Follow the elves and see what they are up to in our community. All comments will be entered into a drawing. Winners will be announced on our page. ✨

Batavia High School Dance Team showed up with full hearts today-bringing donations to help stock the Bingo cart and spreading smiles all around. We are so proud of their kindness, teamwork, and commitment to giving back.❤️ We also got to celebrate one of our residents birthdays, making the day even more special! 🎉💐
