Gifts for the Yanks! Last Saturday was truly special. Our Veterans received thoughtful gifts from fellow Veterans in our community, and the warmth and connection in the room was unforgettable. We are so grateful for their service and for the kindness shared for those who have given so much.

Holiday cheer is extra bright this year as we celebrate or shining star, employee of the year, Gloria. We are proud of her commitment, leadership and hard work. She is always willing to help our residents and staff whenever she can. Some of our support team came to congratulate her with the residents.

The Elves Have Escaped!

It seems the Heritage Woods of Batavia elves have had quite enough of snowflakes and chilly winds… because they’ve officially ESCAPED to a warmer climate!

Tired of shivering on the shelves, they packed their tiny bags, grabbed their beach gear, and landed themselves on a sunny shoreline—complete with seashells, sandcastles, and plenty of tropical relaxation.

While we’re bundling up here in Illinois, our mischievous little travelers are soaking up the sunshine, working on their tan (SPF 1000, of course), and enjoying a well-deserved vacation.

Who knows what beachy adventures they’ll get into next? Stay tuned… the elves of Heritage Woods are just getting started!

Our Elf on the Shelf has officially arrived. He popped in this morning, sprinkled a little Christmas magic around Heritage Woods, and is already up to something. Let the holiday fun begin.
