I am so excited y’all and can’t wait to share with you my fabulous idea! There are many reasons why I chose Mary Kay:

1): Try before you buy! Seriously, how many times have you gone to the store and bought a new eyeshadow, blush, foundation, or lipstick only to find out you Do Not like how it looks on you! Looks great on the model, but not you! Before you know it you have a shoebox or drawer full of product you don’t like, want or need. Before you know it, there’s shame and of wasted money on products you will never use. Try before you buy, y’all! Saves money, time and headaches! Stay with me now and please keep reading.

2): Creating opportunities for women to choose how they want to run their business. Whether it’s a hobby, part-time or full time, you can choose how much time you spend on your hobby or business. Again, stay with me now and please keep reading!

3): Last but certainly not least, empowering women with the opportunity to give back to the community. Mary Kay Ash Foundation contributes to cancer research for cancers in women and domestic violence programs for women and children. As many of you know, I work on a Med/Surg Oncology unit and see the impact that cancer can have on patients and their families. I want to give back! I got into Mary Kay not for the money, but the opportunity to create gift bags for newly diagnosed cancer patients going through chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments for the very first time! Each bag will have a notebook/journal, a pen, lip balm, hand lotion and a word of encouragement. My hope, my dream, and my purpose is to increase sales to create several gift bags and to be able to give each month to a specific cancer research program. Anyone who makes a purchase, whether it is online or in person, a portion will be donated and your name will be on my page!
